安装Oracle RAC启动数据库报ora-17510 attempt to do i/o beyond file size

最近一学员在生产环境上安装oracle 11.2.0.4 rac + linux，安装完成后，启动数据库出现以下报错：
ORA-17510: Attempt to do i/o beyond file size;
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters;

分析这个报错信息：

Error Description:
Attempt to do i/o beyond file size

Error Cause:
The i/o request points to a block beyond End Of File.

Action:
Check additional error messages and call Oracle Support Services.

经分析后，发现这是Oracle bug 16870214,只能说这兄弟运气好，踩雷了。

要彻底解决这个问题，在oracle 11.2.0.4的版本上，需要升级至11.2.0.4.6 (Apr 2015) Database Patch Set Update (DB PSU)

如果不想升级，可以安装临时patch：
16870214: DB STARTUP FAILS WITH ORA-17510 IF SPFILE IS IN 4K SECTOR SIZE DISKGROUP解决这个问题。
